September Rewinded

I've left my blog untouched again for almost the whole month :P. Well I guess it's a good sign since I only update my blog when I have free time. i.e. I'd managed to keep myself busy for the whole Sept. I can already see Oct and Nov coming as really boring months. With the chilly and windy weather kicking in, credit card bills to pay and in fact haven't got anything lined up. Need to be a good girl for the next 2 months before my big big holiday in Dec :).

September...

1st weekend - was YF's birthday party at Tamarai on the 5th, Saturday. We had the party tasting menu for half the price - pretty good deal - 9 tasting yummy courses. And was also the day I double booked myself since I only realised a few days before hand that Mei Nee's also arriving London that night! Almost couldn't work out how to split myself into two. Eventually had Mei Nee waiting for me at the Galleria and guilty me rushed back after the dinner to pick her up. Brought MN to Old Spitalfields Market and walked around London for a bit doing the normal tourist thingy again.

2nd weekend - was Annie's leaving due thingy. Only managed to go to her morning + afternoon session - went Zorbing at some random big green fields in Oxford. It was quite an extreme sport. There were only a small tent set up on the site and the only equipment they had were two zorbing balls, one with water and the other without. Basically they just strap you onto one side of the ball and roll you down the hill...lol. I'd say it is quite extreme, when the ball stops at the bottom of the hill, I was literally hanging off the ceiling of the ball and was a bit worried for a bit that I might break my neck! All in all it was fun. Went to the Thames Festival at night with MN. A lot of stalls set up along the Thames! Lots of food - spanish, kenyan, korean - simply weird combinations! The interesting bit is the Fire Garden in front of Tate Morden, although we didn't quite work out how those things works!

...just as I was telling MN that I've never seen the bridge opens for ships to cross, we turned around and saw it openning!!!!!! ... and I'm not joking! What a coincidence! I should have bought a lottery ticket that day!

The following weekends....to be cont. in the next post...
