Last blog of the year

31st December 2007 - It is the last day of 2007. And since my absence from this blog for so long, I will try to fit everything that has happened this few months into a single blog entry.

The summer ends and comes autumn...

September 2007 - It was my bro's wedding. Went home for two weeks, one week spent at home and another at Seoul. First thing back home was to the hair-dresser. Digital Permed my hair and loved it and still loving it :). The wedding was quite fun. A traditional chinese wedding, so much preparation, so many rules, so much to do and help out (arranging guests seats for the chinese banquet, "entertaining" relatives and friends, compiling some songs, counting ang pau money, etc. etc., i.e. basically just running around doing stuff!), tiring but it was all worth it. Seoul was fun as well. Foodie and a city explorer me literally spent most of the time exploring the city and eating away yummy Korean food. A city that is just enough for a few days. Surprising to me, most waiters and waitresses in restaurants do speak mandarin, but communicating with taxi drivers are really a pain!

October 2007 - Went home again for a week to attend Amy's wedding. Met quite a few of my secondary school friends that I've not seen for quite some time. Quality time spent catching up with them. Other than that, spent most of my time in KL mall crawling @ Pavilion, The Gardens, KLCC and meeting up with people. And amazingly, so many foreign brands has now finally reached KL! Then my bro and sis in law came to visit in London after their honey moon; having them cramp in my room for almost 4 to 5 days hehe. But it was fun hanging out in London and Greenwich.

November 2007 - Changed team at work. Felt like a newbie all over again (partly...). Somewhat interesting to do some new stuff. But was focusing hard on trying to catch up with the learning curve. Amidst the work load , it was the MCR concert! It was such an awesome concert...my best rock concert so far...Gerard Way is just so cool!. Other than MCR, went to Incubus and Alexisonfire too.

December 2007 - A lil more fun and interesting month. Company's team Xmas Dinner at Bar Meze St. Albans (they have quite nice calamari and humous but the dessert is so-so only), Saw Sian and Holly's stay over, crashing at 7 Cunningham Avenue, Mamamia musical, Xmas markets at Natural History Museum and Hyde Park (The one in hyde park is much much better! although I still can't find a stall that sells strawberries coated with chocolate. The one in St. Anne's Sq, Manchester is really yummy) , Xmas Party at Yi Fei and Hsemates house, my attempt to make Okonomiyaki after having tried the ones in Abeno Too, Xmas Eve slack at work (were literally playing an online riddle) and then the Midnight Eucharist at St. Paul's (such a holly activity to countdown to christmas...), Xmas day chilling at Annie's since nothing's open and no trains running, shopping on boxing day (went out around 10+ and there were already ppl queuing waiting for shops to be opened, the crowd got bigger as the evening draws by and ppl squashing each other on the pedestrian st.s...what a day...bought only two tops and a pair of jeans but all with discounted prices, so proud of myself :)) and finally the crazy idea of going to Copenhagen for the weekend! It was quite cold in Copenhagen. But at least it's not as dry as UK weather! It a nice "right sized" city that is quite easy to go around. Managed to cover things we wanted to see but missed the Carlsberg Brewery...just if we have 2 more hours to spare!

And so that is basically what I've done for the last quarter of 2007. Tomorrow is the start of 2008. Resolutions? The list is yet to be compiled, but hope to work on it asap.

Of course, there are pictures to go along the story ;) ... Nico's Picasa Web Album

Tuesday Blues

Yea I know. Long time. Had been addicted to Facebook lately. And hence the absence on blogspot.

Suddenly felt like blogging again.

Much happened these few months...Had been busy with a project in August...then went away on holiday...brother's wedding...Seoul trip...Incubus concert the week after...and home again this Friday!

Phew...

While pondering...

I am standing on the pavement...
Fast foot steps flowing past me...
I hesitated to drag my feet along with them...
And hence I stalled...

I heard someone shouting...
My name I heard...
It woke me up...
Suddenly I realise...
I have somewhere to go...

I don't know where...
But the first step is right in front of me...
And hence I dared myself...
With or without hope...I have to...
To move on...

It's Sunday Again

Yeap its another July Sunday...

Just came back from Victoria Stn...seeing Amy and Gary off to Newcaslte...
Brought my work laptop home and meant to do some work...but not quite motivated at the moment hehe...

And resume making plans for Sth Korea in September. Anyone has any good suggestions, do let me know!...Oh man holidays one after another is just too hectic. I find myself making plans for every holiday straight after another holiday had finished. But I think things will die down after October, since I will only have 3 days holidays left after that lol.
Got to know about this "Test your Brain Age" game from Gary's DS. The game is quite fun, another type of brain game like Sudoku. Review: Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day!.
The ideal score is 20. My first attempt score was 46, which is so bad LOL!

Went to Tower of London yesterday and spent about a bit less than 3 hours in there. Quite a lot to see I would say...

Yeap, it's another lazy July Sunday. The weather is too good to just chill out in number 7, Cunningham Avenue. But am too tired to go out on a Sunday. Went for Ash Gig @ Koko's on Thursday. The crowd was really crazy this time. Contributing factor: too many men (prop suffering from mid-life crisis). Had to go up to second floor of the "Used to be a theatre" venue from where we were standing after the first song. But all in all, Tim Wheeler is cute!!! Yesterday was shopping day again LOL. And so, had to do a lil bit more of work today, in which on the same time, rejoicing the victory of Kimi in Silverstone (thumbsup) :)

Anobii

Many people may think I love books. Or at least that I love reading. Although I can't say this statement is completely true, I can confidently admit that it takes much more than a book to make me finish it. i.e. I normally end up reading books half way. I find that not many books are "interesting" enough to sustain my concentration. And most of the time, I drifted off into my daydreaming world...

I came across Anobii and thought it will be fun to keep a record of books I'm reading and have read. And most importantly, to look for any other interesting books other people are reading...So if you love reading or at least do read once a while, why not try out this Anobii beta version and create your own shelf. And if you have, do add me to your friends list :))

P/S: Check out my shelf under Nico's reading...

What's up in June

Started off a gloomy Sunday with a hot bath and a healthy breakfast which consists of: two petit pains au chocolat, a cup of mocha and half a tub of a 200g muller light strawberry yogurt. Plans for the rest of the day: update blog (on it now), do some 'Work' work ( presumably it would occupy my whole Sunday ), watch F1, go to the gym, do laundry and then clean my room. Productive? Or boring? Haha...

Actually wanted to go down central london yesterday to check out the Summer Sales. Unfortunately with the 'bomb' incident in Haymarket, I thought better avoid getting close to anywhere central london for the time being. I would imagine the transport links going havoc...mind you, it's England...And so, went to Brent Cross Shopping Centre in Hendon instead. First time to the mall. And it was packed! Yea I know it's Saturday...Sales everywhere but I ended up buying all full-priced items. I think I need someone to teach me how to buy On Sales stuff!!! For some reasons I just find those items on sale not captivating...What I bought: a pair of Firetrap shoe (love it), two tops from Republic and a dress from Kookai (love it as well ).

Another incident happened last week, my vaio laptop got infected by a worm. I was downloading some games from Limewire, and thinking it's just a game, ran the executable and the stupid worm copied itself to my windows system folder and stopped some other windows executables from running. Having not being able to run cmd or taskmgr, I can't stop the freaking worm from running. Formatting is the ever last thing I would wanna do!!! And so, searched for some solutions on the net and came across Cyber Tech Help, which provides free online techie help. And...problem solved after fixing some p2p files.

Oh yea, after coming back from NY, got infected by the "must-have-been-a-US-virus" and started coughing . And so wasn't that productive for the first two weeks after my holidays. Went to Boots and ask them to recommend some medic for reducing phlegm. Catarrh pastilles...and I'd say it worked. Cough died down after two days, and having consumed two and a half pastilles, LOL. By the way, would welcome advice from doctors and medic experts for other cough solutions.

New York, Niagara Falls, Boston Breakaway

Ferried to Liberty Island and Ellis Island for Statue of Liberty and the Immigration Hall on Ellis Island; Ground Zero where the Twin Towers once stood, now fenced around construction of the memorial park and Freedom Tower; Strolled around Financial District and Battery Park City

Got tickets for Avenue Q from TKTS, Times Square; Went up Empire State Observatory; Visited American Museum of Natural History and Rose Ctr; BTW, Avenue Q is really good! Very funny...a must watch Broadway! And you should really check him out - Howie Michael Smith haha 0:)

Flown to Buffalo Niagara for Niagara Falls American Tour; Went on Maid of the Mist (white boat with ppl in blue raincoats) Boat Trip which brought us really close up to the American Falls and Horseshoe Falls; Cave of the Winds trip - walked up some stairs really close to the falls; And of course, Buffalo Wings at Hard Rock Cafe

Walked along Boston Freedom Trail, Harvard and MIT campus; Lovely seafood with lobster meal @ Legal Seafoods and Quincy Market

More of NY, Columbus Circle, Lincoln Ctr...had Mexican at Rosa Mexicano, Korean at Seoul Garden, really yummy xiao long bao at Old Shanghai and cheesecake at Europa Cafe (with our unsuccessful search of Cheesecake Factory which might have really good NY cheesecakes!)

Shopping, shopping, shopping at Macy's (good stuff!), Soho & Broadway, Fifth Avenue(although it's more like admiring the shops and window shopping on this street); Cool shops with DJs in Guess and A/X; Sony Wonder Technology lab - fun place to experience things like TV broadcasting, Electronices stuff, video editing etc etc...it's free and you get a cert by the end of the so called self guided tour :). Other interesting shops: FAO Schwarz, MAC, NBA, Prada (haha). Oh yea we also took the bus from Port Authority to Woodbury Common, a factory outlet, has really good bargains!

Along Museum Mile, Guggenheim Museum which is depressingly under Exterior Construction :(, Metropolitan Museum of Art (has quite interesting combination of arts and artefacts exhibits); Central Park

ID Inspiration - Stairs - The Holiday

From the bottom...

And up...

and up again.

Bird eye view

Capturing WMP Images

And so...

I watched The Holiday the other day and Cameron Diaz's house in LA gave me a tinge of ID inspiration. The stair case caught my attention. Thus, I was trying to capture the image of the stairs from Windows Media Player playing the movie. After a few failed attempts using Pause and Print Screens, Full Screen and Print Screen etc etc, I thought why not search for some solution. And viola, straight to the answer.

There are actually a few methods to do it:
a. Simply do a CTRL-I and WMP will prompt you to save the captured image to the disk.
b. In WMP, go to Tools -> Options -> Performance Tab and reduce the "Video acceleration" from the default full to none. Restart with the file you want to play and do a ALT-PrtSc to copy the image to the clipboard

There you go...I prefer the first method ;)

May Day May Day

May Updates...

It's a boring and gloomy Sunday today. The weather turned crap this week. Where is all the sunshine?!?!?!?! Ugghh disgusted, totally disgusted with the weather and for the fact that I suddenly realised I've completed most of the stuff on my list of things to do, I felt bored ONCE again

And so was surfing the web for evening gowns for mum, setting up iGoogle...oh wow didn't notice it was quite useful cos I've always used My Yahoo! Not that Yahoo! is not good, but I would say Google made an effort to keep up? Not sure which one has the service first, but I'd used My Yahoo! for quite a while now... So far, wuts' in my google home page is: Weather forecast (still haven't take the time to figure out how to display more than one place...I have a big list in my yahoo!), daily horoscope, BBC News, A ToDo List and Calorie Counter by LabPixies hehe , Jamie Oliver's recipes, dictionary.com, word and quotes of the day and World Cup Scores (?uh?...not sure why it is there? but it just happens to be)

Been to two gigs so far...Lost Prophets in Wembley Arena and 30 Seconds to Mars, London Astoria. Comments? Lost Prophets performance and stage set up etc are quite cool. Although I would say the sound system ain't that great. Prolly cos it's quite a big venue. 30 Secs to Mars...awww Jared Leto was so cool!...Really good ;)...although we waited for almost two hours before they came out! It's all worth it!

Work stuff, things died down a bit these days...mostly working on minor projects stuff, enhancements and bug fixes etc. Was making bookings and planning for NY trip next month! Can't wait! Gee how I wish I had more holidays and money to spend on those holidays LoL...On top of that, am totally broke this month for buying two Karen Millen dresses which I can't resist not buying! Hit me! Hit me hard! I need to wake up!

Besides feeling bored on a slack Sunday, I've actually have some other stuff to follow up...Call STA to send me my youth card, book boston's bus tickets, buy air ticket back home for Sept, etc, etc.

Sent out a parcel back home yesterday. And guess what it contains...A gift for Mum...for whatever occassion she wanted it for...Mother's Day or her Birthday (her bd's early next month), a belated birthday card for bro, a mother's day card, a birthday card for mum and a father's day card...LOL...cheapskate me tot why not send everything at once! Well my another excuse would be that I don't have to sneak out to the post office during office hours ;)!

Monday Blues Poetry

Be kind,
Reach out a helping hand
Be nice,
Show your sincerity,
Be open,
Open up your mind,
Be honest,
Think aloud; Speak out,
Be initiative,
Take the first step,

But meanwhile...,

Be aware,
Explotation is a possibility,
Becareful,
We only have eyes in front,

Not the back,
Be tentative,
Although we can only hear,

Hear what's around us,
Be alert,
Think before you act,

And everything will be Wonderful...

2007 First Friday 13th

I thought I was going through a lucky week until I realised it is a Friday 13th today!

Well, lucky for the past few days because...
  • It's another 4 day working week :)
  • Surprised to get my tax return cheque so quickly ^^, which meant I can do more shopping! :))
  • Won a box of Truffles in the Raffles Competition during Company's NSPCC day on Wednesday, although the coffee machine and Gordon Ramsay's chocolates looks more attractive. However so, I think I've contributed quite a significant amount (a couple of tenners...about 3% of the total amount raised that day!), mainly to the Auction that our IT Head cooked lunch for the IT girls. It was fun and worth while...

And the lucky week ended today because...

  • Had to go picking and help out in the cfc today, although the pizza is complimentary
  • Am the last one in my team to leave the office for the fact that it's a FRIDAY and I have to finish up some work!
  • Someone used my pot to cook some pasta sauce and left the pot uncleaned which caused the remaining sauce to dry up and stick to the pot. Soaking it with hot water doesn't help much!
  • The bin man didn't collect the recycle bins...and its my "bin week" to put bins out and bring them back in... but the recycle bins are just too damn heavy...
  • Merely my superstitious mind that keeps reminding me it's a Friday the 13th and that I should becareful banging my head to the wall or tripping on to the floor!!!! :P...Gosh how could I curse myself like that!?!? TOUCH WOOD!!!

The Other Day on the Train

Taking a break from reading how to program in PL/SQL, I decided to blog on a KIND OF FUNNY On The Train Experience...

A few days ago, I was on the First Cap Connect train back to Hatfield from London after dinner. It was the 23:06 train and it was quite packed despite the late hours on a weekday. There were still quite a lot of commuters going home from work. Sitting beside me is a girl about my age. When I got on to the train, she was already busy talking on the phone. Opposite her was a guy listening to his ipod. At the Finsbury Park stop, a man around his late 30s, in a suit (probably just off work), came sit opposite me, next to the guy with his ipod.

About 10 minutes later, the man was fast asleep on his seat. And subsequently tipping his head lower and lower till it almost touches the shoulder of the guy next to him. The girl beside me started giggling at first, and then me and the guy who is supposedly the victim join in the giggles and laugh! As the people on the seats over the other aisle was checking out what we were laughing about, they join in the giggles when they realised what was happening. Oh bless the man. I got down the next stop and therefore did not know what happened later. I really hope he did not miss his stop, busy sleeping.

WAGged

Was actually searching for a Tokidoki bag for my brother, and came across this website. Found it interesting and therefore would like to bring your attention to it, although I think in general females will be more interested in reading the whole article :).

If your thinking what WAG means, it is actually an acronym used my the British press to describe the Footballers Wives And Girlfriends. Women who "display" themselves with a style or look of a footballer's wife are categorised as WAGs.
The author has some points there! But I don't agree with it totally. Yes it is madness for middle class women to buy a bag with a £20,000 price tag on it. Yes it just unclassy to clone what celebs are wearing. But hey why can't we just pamper ourselves with a bag worth the whole month's salary once in a while?
The last bit is more interesting...my answers not in black :)
Quiz from the article:
Have you been wagged?
Yes - if you can answer in affirmative to three or more of the following:
• Do you own a set of hair straighteners?

Nope, used to buy one but have never used it. I have a straightener comb though. o.O
• Is there anything in your wardrobe from Dolce & Gabbana/Karen Millen?
Don't really fancy D&G, but loved Karen Millen. Too bad I don't have anything from Karen Millen
• Do you own a velour tracksuit?
Emm yea, what's wrong with that?!?!?!
• Have you ever had a French manicure?
Twice? o.O
• Do you own any jewelled shoes?
Does none real jewels count?
• Have you ever owned, or wanted to own, a vanity case?
I think I had three so far :P, but have not used any of it for a really long time...
• Do you own sheepskin boots - even fake Uggs?
Oops, yes of course
• Do you wear a baseball cap?
Nah, I don't look nice in baseball caps :)
• Do you regularly use fake tan?
Never, still love to be fair
• Have you ever had a personal trainer?
Emm does the one in the gym counts?
• Have you spent more than £300 on a bag?
Well, not with my own money ^^
• Have you ever copied a celebrity's outfit (be honest now)?
Don't think so. Even if I had, it must be a coincidence!
• Do you read Heat/Ok!/Hello!/Grazia magazine?
Nope
• Have you ever had Botox?
Nope
• Have you had your teeth whitened?
Nope
So am I wagged? O.O

There are only 28 days in February

Gutted! Absolutely gutted! How can Matt Evers be out of the competition?!?!?!?! Geeeeee will miss him so much every Saturday evening :(. (FYI: Matt Evers is a pro figure skater currently on Dancing on Ice - a Brit TV Show)

Thought I spent too much last month and this month as well. But it turn out not as bad as I've thought. Anyhow, really need to keep track of my spending more tightly now. Had been spending sooooo much on clothes and food....gee...so guilty. To look at it at a more optimistic way, I suppose it's a good thing as it motivates me to work harder and earn more money. Too bad money don't fall from the sky :(.

I'd say 2007 is a boring start for me so far. Nothing really interesting happened. Geee so disappointed with what's ahead. It's time to get myself together and make something happen! Don't worry, I wouldn't go around stabbing miserable people on the streets.

A few weeks ago someone asked me a question: "So what have you achieved in your life? And what would you like to achieve?". Gee it kept me thinking for a bit. I'd say it's an easy yet 'unanswerable' question. I suppose I must have achieved something after all these years and having come so far...Yet, I stumbled on the question. Frankly, the question had kept me thinking for a good few weeks. So, besides all the normal sh*t ...school, college, uni, work, my answer would be, "to experience living the life of different kinds of people in the world". It seems like a Biggie, but I am determined. However so, I think I can consider having achieved almost about 30% of this so called ambition. Well, everyone has a measuring tape in their hearts. You can define all the metrics you ever wanted!

Ice skating lessons anyone?

Butter Pork

Having about half a pack of curry leaves left, I made a second attempt on the Butter "Prawns" recipe. This time, its Butter Pork :P...cos there is only pork left in the fridge.

It was better this time. More egg shreds and tasted more buttery ^^. Mission accomplished!...

Butter Prawns Recipe:
Ingredients:
  • Prawns (or any other meat of your choice)
  • Egg yolks
  • Evaporated/Condensed milk
  • Butter/Margarine
  • Curry Leaves
  • Chopped Chillies
  • Seaoning: salt + sugar (about 1/2 tsp each)

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil & deep fry prawns (or fry till cook any meat used). Drain oil and set aside
  2. Mix well egg yolks and condensed milk
  3. Heat up saucepan/wok with some oil. Melt butter with low heat.
  4. Pour the egg yolks into the butter slowly and keep stirring until the mixture form fine shreds.
  5. Add in chillies, seasoning and curry leaves and mix well
  6. Put in prawns/meat, mix well, drain off excess oil and serve.

Note: Amount of butter used should be relatively more than egg yolks to produce the desired egg shreds results.

Butter "Prawns" & Cookies

In the attempt to improve my culinary skills, I tried out my second time of Butter Prawns. Went to Asda yesterday and was quite surprised to find fresh Curry Leaves! (imported from India). And so decided to try out some Butter Prawns recipes. Since I can't really find big and fresh prawns (hardly any in UK!), decided to go for an alternative - some seafood selection.
Results:
I think it was not as good as my first ever attempt...some few years back! Maybe because I've not put in enough oil and butter (very fat :P). And therefore, the egg bits weren't crispy enough. But the taste is OK.

Made some cookies last week. I think it tasted better than the last time. At least it was an improvement ^^

Let it snow! Let it snow

Many ppl say Christmas comes late. That's cos nowadays it doesn't snow in Dec anymore. Mr Snow Generator's late for two months.

It snowed again today, for the whole day. The heaviest first time for 2007.

A Reason?!

I always believe that there is a reason for every thing that we do, good, bad or neutral. So probably we should think a level deeper when we start to wonder why someone did something as it is...

Heard a tragic story today. Since I do not want to mention it in my blog because I wouldn't want to be able to remember it, I would like to jot down my thoughts on the incident. Life is too short for almost anything that you can possibly think of. True? Relatively. And the only thing I would like to express is - let go of yourself. Optimism is not a denial of pessimism. It is just another route in life we have the choice for. Maybe you start questioning that I am just trying to convince myself of the better. Probably. But I've chosen to believe that if I am able to free myself of the persuasion of those deadly sins, I will happier myself and for the others.

"Little Bobby is always bullied by George the big bully in class. One day Bobby was on the swing. George came by and pushed poor Bobby off the swing. Bobby cried. The next day Bobby went on the swing again. George came by again and pushed Bobby off the swing. Bobby cried. Bobby got home and his mom asked him how was school that day. Hesitated for while, little Bobby expressed his concerned about the big bully in school pushing him off the swing. Bobby mummy gave Bobby a sweet and told him to give the sweet to George during recess tomorrow. And little Bobby did as told. George stared at Bobby for a while. Bobby then see a sincere smile across George's face. Bobby smiled......"

Travel

Having a routine job bores me somtimes. But there is always travel plans that cheers me up. Apart from looking forward to covering most of cities in the world, the wonders of the world etc, there are also those weird and strange places I would like to go!

I've always wanted to organise my blog a bit and give it a more focused theme (prolly focusing on food and travel etc.), but that did not happen because I did not put enough dedication to my blog hehe. Before that happens, accept this disorganised blog of mine for the time being ^^.

Found out about this cool place - Mystery Spot somewhere in Santa Cruz. There is a spot in this place where by if two people stand on it and although A is taller than B, B will look taller etc... Interesting! And this will definitely be one of the destinations in my list! Ref: (Dennis the Menace Comic on Mystery Spot)

Brrr January

I think I am stressing myself too much these days. Work is definitely challenging. I think I'm using too much of my brains every second everyday. I guess I have not used that much of my brains over the past 20 odd years in school and uni. Good God Gracious! Suffering from headache now! I will be anticipating grey hair soon! (Just ranting about how to make the web page works! Which is supposedly to do some freaking complicated processing!). God, could you kindly give me a more inspiration! God give me a better algorithm!

In addition to that work load, 3 colleagues of mine in my team will be on holiday next week. Which means, I am left with another colleague to handle all other issues within the team. Wish me luck next week! Well, I guess I couldn't have complained more for the fact that I still have almost 6 to 7 hours of sleep a day. Your welcome to tell me that I am stressing myself too much and that your working days are worse. At least, I can tell myself to work harder, and complain less!

So far, the first month of 2007 had been quite eventful. Went to one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurant - Petrus (its French) the first week. Although it cost me a bomb (for a normal 'ta gong chai' me), the food is actually not bad! Loved the starter (scallops ... 8 of them a plate!). The main course - Sea bass was ok only. But all other complimentary small dishes were cute and yummy ^^

Then it was my company's post Xmas and new year party at Sway Club, Holborn. I guess I have never had so much alcohol in one night ever before! Wine, beer and spirits were free flow. How about that! And there were two casino tables - blackjack and roulette. Everyone was supposedly to have 100 worth of chips (not cash transferable though). I played a lil but not enough to be the big winner of the night. Then there was auction of some 10 participants doing chores for NSPCC day. Got home around 4am but still 'zombiesize' myself to go work at 9 !

Last week was Lion King musical. It was really colourful and funny I would say. Why funny? Find out yourself ;). I think it is really different from other musicals I've watched. Then it was shopping almost every weekend. Sigh...luckily its pay day again tomorrow! Need to really plan out my expenses :S (ok ok will be on my 2007 resolutions list)

Ohya, it snowed yesterday! Didn't really expected it. Woke up and got ready for work (still not aware it snowed). Got to the door and saw outside from the glass the bushes outside were white! Amusingly, the first thing that came over my mind is - Did some white flowers bloomed from the bushes!?!? Ok ok, its stupid. But hey, I've just woke up :P. Anyway, it's starting to get really cold :(. Need to dig out my down jackets and fleece.
